While we were sleeping we passed through Country #3 - Switzerland....maybe we should have stayed awake for a while to see the sights!! We arrived in Florence early Wednesday morning, everyone had a pretty good nights sleep - not becasue the bunks were so comfortable but because there wasn't much room to do anything else!! After all there is only so much girls talk we could do!!

The 3 boys, Mr Critch and 2 boys from the Sask. group stayed in one car, in the car next to them was the 4 girls, myself and Jennifer....lots of snacking, girl talk and boys watching going on !!

After getting some ice cream with the group, we had some free time, we rested for a while in a nearby park and then walked around for a while - of course we found some gift stores and then we found the Shakesphere Bookstore - as the story goes - William Shakesphere would let students live there rent free under the conditions that they work in the bookstore and read 2 books a day.

This is the central point of Paris - there is a brass circle in the bricks - if you would like to return to Paris you should step on it - I guess Rebecca wants to come back!

Today (Tuesday), we visited the Notre Dame Catherial in Paris, Mike, our tour guide, explained the significance of the architecture of the building - amazing again!
